Compare the total occupation cost
Commercial office rents are commonly quoted per square foot per month. The better comparison includes chargeable area, service-charge treatment, fit-out, furniture, deposits and eventual reinstatement.
Fitted space changes the economics
A fitted office may save time and capital when the layout works. A lower-rent bare unit can still cost more once design, M&E works, furniture and approvals are included.
Location bands
Raffles Place and Marina Bay are the core premium CBD; Robinson/Cecil and Tanjong Pagar span older value-oriented stock through modern Grade A towers; Bugis/Beach Road and Orchard are central alternatives; regional hubs can reduce cost or improve staff access.
